Edythe Kirchmaier, Facebook's eldest enrolled user, turns
106 today. Kirchmaier earned the qualification of being the social site's most
seasoned inhabitant a year ago when companions from the medical aid philanthropy Direct Relief signed her up for a record
on her 105th birthday.
Kirchmaier, who is likewise California's eldest authorized
driver and the University of Chicago's eldest living graduate, in the beginning
couldn't enter her birth year of 1908 when she joined Facebook. It took the

'"I never thought we would
hit 105,000 likes, but we did. I have been volunteering here for 40 years and
it feeds my soul," she said.

viable social media sites soon.
